Team-building away day in the caves with Gower Adventures!
Gower Adventures is an outdoors activity provider which delivers high quality team-building days for companies. They are based around the Gower Peninsular and have been established since 2014. It is a family-run business set up by Simon Fenton, who is a highly qualified instructor with over thirty years of experience.
On Friday the 25th of November Kirsty Bowen and her team of finance analysts were booked on a taster session of team-building at Porth-yr-Ogof caves.
Full of energy and enthusiasm, the team put on their caving suits, wellies and helmets and set off into the caves. Everyone was up for a challenge and they managed to squeeze themselves into the small spaces, pulling themselves along on their hands and knees and scrambling along precarious ledges. There were different options to explore easier or harder bits of the cave.
Simon and Cathy saw lots of evidence of excellent communication skills as the group navigated themselves around the caves and helped each other in the darkness.
After lunch everyone had a go at abseiling down into the cave from the ground above.
A really successful day out for all.
